I made some assumptions about your Ruth Seymour. Jeremiah Seymour, Charles J. and Wallace Seymour are listed on page 296 of "The Seymour Family" [by Seymour, George Dudley and Jacobus, Donald Lines, 1939, 662 pages].
The Jane Seymour, wife of King Henry VII, connect has been floating since the late 1800's, I would not take too much stock in it. There is much better evidence that our Seymour's descended from a shoemaker in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England. The book referenced above and a more recent book by Malcolm Seymour [Puritan Migration to Connecticut, 1982, 107 pages, ISBN 0-914016-85-7] are well worth reviewing. Jim Seymour has posted a recent message about his site, http://s560.com/dokuwiki/start , which includes portions of these two books.
