I am surprised no one has mentioned "The Seiberts of Saarland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia" by Raymond Martin Bell, 1982. I found this at the FHL in Salt Lake City. He does not document fact by fact, but has an invaluable two-page list of sources, and the book does appear to have been well-researched.
