Thanks:I also see Ireland on all the census, also on my Grandparents marriage document, it is spelled Sixsmith for both of them and also Tobias, probably the brother, stood up for them he also signed Sixsmith.I alsoremember that my grandmother was a staunch Anglican, going to church all the time.It is funny that our Grandfathers were born almost the same year, and that they both died in the same year.Although, I was young but I can remember my Grandfather, he was a very tall and straight man.My father and my uncles were tall and thin,also my Grandmother was tall and thin, but she was also a Sexsmith, so maybe it ran in the family, was you father and grandfather tall.Will write later, thanksSandra
