Sexsmith Family Genealogy Forum

I just went to the site after a long absence and found your posting. I am 100% in favor of your plan. I have many, many Sexsmiths (Sixsmith) recorded in my PAF program that I have gleaned from Canadian Census, birth records, death records, marriage records and a trip I made to Ontario to gather info from some Churches etc. I am frustrated that I can't link us up together back to Ireland.
I have also been to Ireland 3 times, met the Sixsmith families there several times. Delightful people and we see a great family resemblance but still no luck in connecting. We seem to just be missing that one generation of records. Let me know if you are still interested. We are hoping for a Sexsmith Reunion of our family next year and it would be great to have that tie in place.
Because we all lived on property that adjoined each other, I feel that we are either from siblings or cousins that ventured to the New World to get away from all of the strive in Ireland in the early 1800's, actually before the Potatoe Famine. Barbara Taylor
