Hi: Don't know if there is any connection, but my
gggrandparents were Joseph Sixsmith b 1798 and Jane Sexsmith
b 1802, They were married in Castlecormer in era 1823, and shortly after came to Upper Canada. I do not know if they came through the States. As they are both Sixsmith's there could be a connection. Sandra
