Attempting to locate connections to the following Sewell families and in particular to ascertain the maiden name of Mary, James Sewell's mother.

JAMES SEWELL (SEWILL) married SARAH DAVIS on the 9th June 1814 in Cowbit, Lincolnshire.
Cowbit Parish Register Fiche: 9 June 1814 James Sewill, Widower of this Parish & Sarah Davie, Spinster of this Parish. Witnesses were James Davis & Sarah French.

SARAH DAVIS was baptized 17th December 1795, Cowbit, daughter of DAVID (born c1755, buried 30th June 1801, Cowbit) & TRYPHENA (Baptized 27th January 1765, buried 10th February 1837, St Mary’s, Cowbit) DAVIS nee PAVEY – married 20th September 1781, Cowbit)

SALLY SEWELL, bap. 11th June 1827, Cowbit, died 14th October 1827, Cowbit
