I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “Will Seville”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in Washington (Washington Co.) IA, and photo is consistent with those taken in 1890-1895 time frame. Will looks to be about age 18-22 in the photo.
I could not find a Willliam Seville in Washington Co., IA – however in a county a few miles away, I found a William Seville. He was in the 1880 census for Jackson (Jones Co.) IA, and this William was age 10, son of Michael and Ellen Seville. Each county is on the opposite side of Cedar Rapids – and since there is no other William Seville with matching age in Iowa, I feel sure these are one and the same.
