Frank, I just returned from a Severt reunion in Glendale Springs, NC. Seems like your father is the son of Jackson Severt, my husband's great grandfather. Peter is the brother to Calvin, my husband's grandfather.
The record they had of Peter gave his middle name as Michael, not Jackson.Is this incorrect? According to my info, he was born in 1870, died in 1946.
Actually, Jackson had 14 children. I have these names if you are interested.
Also I would appreciate any info you have about other members of this family.
