Thank you for the posting.
I almost feel guilty, but I traced my namesake all the way back to the boat with little effort in about a little over a month all documented. I was stuck on a guy that I knew existed because I saw records that he was the father of my relative, but couldn't figure out where he came from.
That someone was Jacob Severance m. to Mary J. Tucker on March 12'th 1794 (confirmed by records at Kingston Town Hall by myself yesterday).
That Jacob was the father of the Jonathan you asked about, as well as a Jacob that goes to my lineage that hasn't seemed to have been discovered online yet. The Jonathan born in 1700, while I'm sure there is definitely a relation, is not going to be found from the Jonathan born in 1800.
I still have no birth date for the Jacob that married Mary Tucker if anyone can help with that. I may be headed back to Kingston, NH next week if I get a chance, but I looked while I was there last time and couldn't find him being born.
I sure hope Dewsnap was right about the Jonathan b. in 1800. If so, my lineage is;
1.)John Severance
2.)Ephraim Severance
3.)Ephraim Severance
4.)Jacob Severance
5.)Jacob Severance
6.)Jacob Severance
7.)Benjamin Severance
8.)Arthur Severance
9.)Nelson Ellsworth Severance
10.) my dad
11.) ME:)
Thanks for all the postings guys. My hardest part was 8 and 9, because 8 was a little shady and nobody knew anything.
5 through 11 I can document, and 1 through 4 came from this thread.
