The father of the Ephraim Severance you are wondering about was Ephraim Severance born Nov. 17, 1723 in Ipswich, Mass. and died in Topham, VT in 1810. The mother was Abigail Trask. They were married Feb. 22, 1747/48. The information on him I received from a Donald Severance and he got it out of the David Dewsnap book and from the book Severances - Relatively Speaking by Donald Severance. The other children that they had besides Ephraim were Daniel (1751-1810), Rufus, Abel, Abigail, and Molly. The father of Epharim (1723-1810) was Ebenzer born Nov. 29, 1694 in Salbury, MA and his wife was Anna Fitts. The parents of Abigail Trask were John Trask and Mary Woodbury.
