Sue,
Ephraim Severance was married to Ruth Gould and they had at least 6 children, one of whom was Ephraim and he was born around 1800. One of his brothers was Jacob Severance who is my great-great-great grandfather. The Ephraim that you are wondering about was born in Sanbornton, ME, but that is all that I know about him, but I have quite a bit of information on his ancestors. Ruth Gould's parents were Christopher Gould and Elizabeth Waters. Ruth had two sisters, Polly and Hannah, and a brother, Ephraim.
