I bought on Ebay a silver-plated child's cup which bears the inscription "Christmas Gift to Cora, from Rev. J.P. (could be J.S.) Severance (or Saverance), 1868"

Just out of curiosity, I thought I'd see if I could find out who these people might be. I collect old silver-plated baby or child's cups with inscriptions.
