Thank you so much for your reply; I guess I missed it. I found him in the 1810 Warren Co., KY Census, page 256, and from page 6 of census book by Rowens Lawson: Settles, George - 00111 00000 8
Males: 1 (16-26); 1 (26-45 - Charles Morgan Settle); and 1 (45 or older - George Settle).
No females, and 8 slaves.
His close neighbors were: Henry H. Jones, John Beckham, Henry Howard, Jess Green, Benj. Bulington, (George Settle), William Oliphant, William Conway, Mary Weathers, Robert Bulington, John Hays, Joseph Esay, Abram Levaugh and Moses Johnson.
Distant cousin, Thornton Settle, lived nearby. He was on page 255 in the 1810 Warren Co., KY census; his family consisted of: 1 male "to 10", 1 male 26-45; 1 female 26-45; and 2 slaves
I know that his will was dated June 1820 and was probated in Warren Co., KY, but I could not find him in the 1820 Warren Co. census. He must have been dead when the 1820 census was taken. firstname.lastname@example.org
