I have a Walter S. Setliff, son of John Allen Setliff 03 Jun 1853, Athens, Limestone County, Alabama, -- 04 Aug 1939 Chattanooga, Tennessee, married to Sara Ann Quayle.

I have no wife listed for this Walter S.

John Allen was one of 13 sons born to Lewis Lenore Williams Setliff and Malinda Marion Morris.
I'd be interested in knowing what you have on any of the Howard County, Arkansas Setliffs with particular interest in Setliff/Jones (three Jones sisters m Setliff men) and Setliff/Nancy "Nannie Lee" Leake families.

The three Jones sisters were sisters of my grandmother, Willie Jones who married William Hardy Leake who was the nephew of Nancy "Nannie Lee" Leake who married Abraham McClain Setliff--so both sides of my maternal and paternal grandparents' families are married into the Setliff family.

I've never even seen a photo of ANY of my Jones family or of my grandmother Willie Jones Leake and would dearly love to. Willie is listed "Leek" on her headstone/ County Line Cem., Nashville, Howard Co., AR) From what I can find out she died in 1910 in Howard County, AR from complications of pneumonia.

Just last month was emailed a copy of a studio photo of my grandfather, William H. Leake, aka Bill Leake/Leek and it was the first one I'd ever seen of him. He died in 1922 in Bryan County, Oklahoma.
