Looking for information on Sessions family who lived in Pomfret VT and gradually into Woodstock VT. Any surviving family members who might be related to Alonzo Sessions born 1809 or so in Pomfret, VT. Specifically interested in other children of Darius Sessions born in Pomfret VT in 1776. He is recorded as the father of Alonzo. He purchased land in Woodstock, Vt in the late 1820's and 1830's--he begins to sell his land in the mid 30's and may have moved to Ohio with a possible son Darius (my gggrandfather who appears to have been born @1814) in the late 1830's. I have death information, marriage information and children of my gggrandfather, Darius (@1814), but no links to his parents. Darius (1814) died in Woodstock, Champaign, Ohio in 1846. He married Analine Meacham Bates in Logan Co., Ohio in 1841. His children were Minard, Mary and Cynthia. He may have been married prieviously to a Miranda Pool and had a daughter Adaline born about 1835. He is in close association with a Susan or Susannah Pool LeFevre Cushman in Champaign Co. He may be the brother or half brother of Ira Allen Sessions and JW Sessions both of VT and both of whom moved to Champaign Co. about the same time. HELP!
