Several of the descendants carried the name of Wesley and John Wesley, after the Methodist leader. The Server family was closely accosiciated with the Rowe Family of Northumberland Co and later in Logan Co. Ky. He soon moved from Paris to near Russelville, Kentucky, the county seat of Logan County. He, with his wife and tow of her brothers, Michael and Samuel Rowe, soon moved from Logan County to the 'Red Banks' - now Henderson, Kentucky, across the Ohio from Evansville, Indiana. Before 1811, they crossed the Ohio River into Posey County, Indiana. WIFE NOTES: Dorothea Appel Moved(1): Death: At the time of her death, she could have been living wither daughter, Mary Appel Server Rowe, or with John Server. Burial(1): General(1): Her name is spelled Dorothy in the LDS Church record from Mr. Kunz. However, her name is spelled different ways in the Logan Co. Ky tax records as a widow of Peter Server. The Server Bible record seems to be Dorothea, which is the German spelling. She was probably related to Peter Apple (also Apfel, Appel,Oppel, etc) who was born in Berks Co. Pa.
