I just saw your posting and it hit a nerve. I'm hoping we are talking about the same person.
My father Michael A Serrano Sr was adopted as a baby by his uncle Tony Serrano when his mother (name unknown) died. My father says he has an older brother and an older sister both living in Puerto Rico. When he was 18 he flew to PR to collect a small inheritance his mother left him. When he arrived at the office of the executioner of the estate he was told that his siblings did not want to see him. He does not know their names or why he was adopted. His adoptive parent (his maternal uncle and his wife) never told him the true story even to this day they will refuse to tell him.
He has been searching for many years to learn the story of his family and what happened. He was born on Nov 8, 1953 or 54 I belive in Santurce or Ponce. His Mother's maiden name is belived to be Serrano his biological father and original birth name was Feliciano. It was changed back to Serrano after he was adopted.
