I was wondering if anyone had any information on my great-grandfather's family. I have been looking for this information for several years now. This is a branch of my family tree that I just cannot figure out, it is quite the mystery. My Grandfather's name was Lucas Eloy Serna, he married Amelia/Agapita M. Cordova. His parents were Juan J. Serna born in New Mexico(??) who was married to Amalia/Emilia Padilla. They had 3 children that I know about, Felix, Virginia and Lucas. I do know my Grandmothers line from up to the 1860's, but great-grandpa and great-grandma on up are very hard cases to crack (so to speak). My Grandfather was born in Monte Vista then settled in San Pablo-San Luis area of Costilla County. I am at a loss here. Does anyone know anything about these Sernas, if so I would appreciate any help you could give as I am starting to wonder why all the mystery!!???
