Sergents/Blevins/Whiteheads/Morgans/KY

Looking for anyone who might have family ties to Sergents/Blevins/Whiteheads/Morgans.

Before she died my grandmother wrote down as much of the family history as she knew. A note in the margin said that there were Sergents and Whiteheads in the family. I have found the Whitehead link, but the Sergent link eludes me.

William H. Blevins and Elizabeth Whitehead had Luke P Blevins. William and 2nd wife, Lucinda C. Morgan had a daughter Susie. However, the 1900 Leslie Co census has William, Lucinda, Luke, WASHINGTON, & Susie.
Don't know anything else about Washington, (who his parents were, etc.) except that my grandmother called him "Uncle Wash"

There is a family story that my great grandfather, Luke P. Blevins was taken in by a Sergent family when William, his father, "went off to war or something." (What happenned to Elizabeth? Where did William go?)

Luke was born in Hyden, KY (Leslie Co) 1876
Married Prudence Wooton. Prudence's line goes back to Begleys, Allens, Sizemores.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks Elaine
