My gggrandmother was Rachel SERJEANT b 1796 in NC She passed after 1850 and was buried at Lee's College Campus in Jackson, Breathitt CO., KY. On her marriage bond with Asa FIELDS, an Abraham SERJEANT signed his name saying she was really her because she couldn't write and just made a mark like this ^. Would this SERJEANT family be any of yours? I can't find anything for some reason. Thnk you...........
