I have the puzzel of the century. I am looking for information on a Jane Sargent ( not certain of the correct spelling of Sargent). Jane had a brother Floyd who supposedly disappeared during a war. Jane also had 2 daughters. The daughters were said to be named Minnie Belle and Ethel Rhitt ( again, not certain of the spelling)Ethel Rhitt was born October 31, 1894, and died August 23, 1965. She married James H. Blair from Harlan County KY. Minnie Bell had a daughter named Thelma and a daughter named Ethel. They were raised in the coal mining cames in Harlan County Ky. It is said that Minnie Belle Sargent(sp?) married a John Southerland, and then a Millard Adams. Millard Adams was said to have raised the children with Jane Sargent(sp?). Some where along the line, a Sam Howard's name came into the scene.....possibly a husband of Jane Sargents(sp?).... Does ANYONE out there have ANYTHING that might match up to this?
