Your posting of this information has been very helpful. William and Samuel Sentell, Jr. were the only two sons who's death is not recorded in the Sentell Bible. Samuel Sentell, Sr. died in 1844 and Nancy Stephens Sentell died in 1863, both died in DeKalb County, Georgia.

I believe the William Sentell listed in Tallapoosa, Alabama looked after the children of his youngest brother, Martin Thomas Sentell who was the first to die. Nathan died next in Newton County, Georgia in 1833, then the father in DeKalb County, Georgia in 1844, Britain in DeKalb County, Georgia in 1847 and John Sentell died in Texas in 1858.

Nathan's son William W. Sentell lived in DeKalb and lived near his uncle, Britain Sentell. Both were commissioners of road for the county, Britain in 1840 and William W. in 1850.

In some records, John Edward Sentell was listed as the son of Martin Thomas Sentell. This is incorrect as he is mention in his mother's obituary as her only son. When Britain died she was left with one son and four girls. She and all the girls are buried in the Sandy Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

Question? Who was the son of Martin Thomas Sentell who was listed as 3 years old in the 1830 census?

Who was the father of Nathan who lived next to William in Pickens County, Alabama in 1850?

Please, if anyone can furnish information on William and his brother Samuel Sentell, Jr. it would help many researchers. Does anyone have the death dates of William and Samuel Sentell, Jr. and the source for those dates?
