William W. Sentell son of Nathan & Mary
William W. Sentell was the oldest child of Nathan and Mary B. Sentell and born in 1815.He was made a Commissioner of Roads in DeKalb County, Georgia and the Historical Society of DeKalb County states in the area from Sandy Spring Church to Buckhead in 1850.That could have been when they were creating Fulton County, Georgia.Nathan died in Newton County, Georgia (which was taken from Henry County, Georgia).
William is listed in the 1850 Census of DeKalb County, Georgia. Also listed is Elizabeth, wife of Brittain Sentell who died in 1847.Mary Sintell, wife of Nathan Sentell and mother of William.Nancy Stephens Sentell is living in the Heflin household in that census.I saw the copy of this census at the Main Library in Marietta, Georgia and it was done in alphabetical order and not by households.
I am just now searching for the brothers of my great-great-great grandmother, Hattie Louise Sentell who married Edmund Wiley Reynolds.
Hope this will help other researchers.
