She is also mentioned in the book THIS WAS VIENNA (Fairfax County, Virginia) by Connie and Mayo Stuntz, in an article about Charles Broadwater and the estate's "Springfield Manor," which was demolished in the 1980s when it was about 300 years old. Charles Broadwater was the first sheriff of Fairfax County and received a patent of 40,000 acres at an early date.
