Seminole Chief Sam Jones

We are interested in information concerning Sam Jones, a Seminole chief. Sam Jones is his white man's name. He was a spiritual leader for the Seminoles during the war. He didn't remove from Florida. He was part of the group they left in the swamps. We are interested in tracking his children. We have been told that his daughter was a Rebecca Jones and her mother was named Itee. Rebecca Jones married Ephraim Mitchell. Any information on Sam Jones would be appreciated.
