My great great grandfather was Frederick Selway, who married Sarah Watts in 1846 in Bath in Somerset. They had a daughter, my great grandmother, Emily Elizabeth,in 1848, birth registered in the district of Bath. They arrived in South Australia in 1849 aboard the "Ascendant", and in Adelaide Frederick was a carpenter & builder. Children born in S.A. were George Frederick - 1850, Mary Malvina - 1852, Frederick Edward - 1854, Annie Eliza - 1856, Henry Thomas - 1858, William Churchill - 1861, Arthur Watts - 1863, and Laura Hannah - 1868. If anyone has come across a possible link with Frederick anywhere, I would be most interested.
