I am trying to find info on Sarah Ann Selmes.
She is the mother of Thomas William Coulby born 1860 Rotherhithe.
I have Sarah's death cert (1869)
I also have her in 1861 with her husband, John Coulby (born Claypole c1834)and son Thomas. Sarah details... 25 married and born Mountfield Sussex c1835/6. Living in Rotherhithe.
Despite having searched from 1850 (aged 15 appox) to 1869(death) I can not find a mariage for John and Sarah.
I also believe the couple had two more children who died young, but have yet to confirm this.
John George born and died Rotherhithe 1856
Hannah Maria born 1858 died Rotherhithe 1859
I have seen one Sarah Anne Selmes bapt 25/12/1835 Mountfield, to Solomon and Eliza Selmes nee Goodwin.
There is also a list of what appear to be a siblings.
This is on IGI so am treating as suspect until I can verify it. But without Sarah's marriage I have no idea how to confirm her parents.
Can anyone help shed some light???
