Notes on Henrich Sellen:
He came to Germantown 1684or 1685. About 1713 to 1715 he apparently moved to the Skippack settlement and sometime between 1732 and 1736 he moved his family to then York County near the present day towns of Hanover and Littlestown.

Mathias van Bebber purchased a tract of six thousand one hundred and sixty-six acres of land, which by patent dated Feb 22, 1702 was located on the Skippack Creek, constituting about one half of the southern protaion of what is now Perkiomen township. The settlement so increased that Van Bebber gave one hundred acres towards a Mennonite meeting house, which was, built prior to 1726, its trustees being, Heinrich Sellen, Herman Kuster, Claus Jansen, Michael Zeigler, and Martin, Henry and Jacob Kolb. Henry Frey, who settled in this vicinity, is stated to have arrived in the Colony two years before the landing of Penn.

Hendrick Sellen listed in personal collections fo Mennonite Archives hist mss 1-461SC
Sell and Sellen listed as early mennonite names in the index for the Mennonite Heritage Center located in Harleysville PA ,565 Yoder Road P.O. box 82 harleysville PA
The Kolb brothers (jacob listed earlier with the name of Heinrich Sellen) in 1708 came from the Palatinate to Germantown with other Swiss Mennonites or Anabaptists.
