This obituary is printed on back of funeral service card, provided by
McCullough Funeral Home @ 1155 Everee Inn Road, Griffin, Georgia. It is the
same copy that was printed in the newspaper.
Mr. Farrell H. Self
Mr. Farrell Hudon Self, 66 of Griffin, died Saturday evening, February 24,
1996, at the V.A. Hospital in Decatur.
Mr. Self was born in Fulton Co., GA He was the son of the late Malcolm
Self and the late Jimmie Carroll Self. Mr. Self was a self-employed contractor,
and a veteran of the U.S Army with 17 1/2 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Self; daughter, Teresa Dukes of Jonesboro;
sons, Roger Self of Hapeville, Kenneth Self of Covington, and Nathan Self of
Conyers; stepchildren, James Willis od Hiram, Jerry Willis of New London, NC.,
Ronald Willis of New London, NC., Kenneth Willis of Flordia, and Linda Jones of
Douglasville; 14 grand-children; 4 great-grandchildren; 18 step-grand-children;
24 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, B.D. Self of Riverdale; sisters, India
Miracle of Marietta, Geraldine Mann of Locust Grove, Eloise Camp of Swannee,
and Betty Jane Daffron of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.
Furnal services for Mr. Farrell Self will be Tuesday at 11 a.m in the chapel
of McCullough Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Montgomery will officiate. Interment
will follow in Westwood Gardens.
Friends may visit the family from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home.
McCullough Funeral Home of Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
