Phillip A. Seifried and Elizabeth Welker are my gr gr grandparents. I am a descendant of one of their sons, Albert Seifried (my great grandfather), who died in 1959. I just started to research Phillip and Elizabeth. My grandmother, now in her 80's remembers Elizabeth Welker Seifried from her childhood. Elizabeth died in Pittsburgh on March 27, 1926 at the age of 56 years. She is buried in a family plot at St Mary's cemetery off Penn St. According to Elizabeth Welker Seifried's death certificate she and her parents were born in Germany. Her parents were John Welker and Elizabeth Schuman. There is another older spelling for Welker,Weolker. I look forward to hearing from you.
