John Seiberling( b. 4 Nov 1783, Northampton Co.,PA ; d. 6 Dec 1875, Western Star, Summit Co,OH )was married to Catherine Baer in 1803 in Northampton Co.,PA. He was a shoemaker and Postmaster of Lynn/Linn Twp.,Northampton/now Lehigh Co.
He was the son of Fredrick Seiberling (1760-1837)and Catherine Weiss. He was the grandson of Christian Seiberling (1733-1820) and Ernestine Louisa Holben (1728-1824).
He was the gggrandfather of Frank A. Seiberling, the co-founder of Goodyear Tire and Rubber and Seiberling Tire Co.,who built Stan Hywet Hall - a mansion in Akron,OH - which was built to resemble a 14th century English Tudor castle!
