Has anyone heard of this line of Seibers being the same line as that of the "Sevier" governor of TN? Also has anyone heard the story that these are two separate lines because the Seviers "rode in and took over a farm of some German people named Seiber"? Don't know what is meant by "took over", but the person said they were different lines completely unrelated. I always thought these were variations of spelling on the same name. Any thoughts on that? Also does anyone know of a Sarah Jane Spessard who married a Jacob L. Seiber? They had a child named Delaney Jane Seiber born Nov 8, 1862, or a person named Lineart Seiber? Any info is appreciated.
