Don't know if this is too late, but info I have indicates that there were two branches of the Segrave family in Ireland, both decended from Sir Peter de Segrave, caused by the second marriage of his Grandson, Richard Segrave, and the division of Richard's large estates. The descendents of the first marriage settled at Killeglan in Meath County and where known as the Killeglan branch of Segraves. The descendants of the second marriage settled at Cabragh in Dublin County and were known as the Cabragh branch. Hope this helps.

I hope to go to Ireland too one day.

Emily
