Deborah,
I have an extensive data base on the Seagraves/Segraves people and a quick review turned up no Benjamin F. in Forsyth Co. through the 1900 census. If you could give me anymore details you might have, like estimated date of birth or any other dates, it would help me check.
I have a Benjamin Seagraves born about 1811 in NC who moved to Pike Co., GA by 1837 and resided there the rest of his life. He had a son, Benjamin F. Seagraves, born in 1850 who also spent his life in Pike Co., GA.
There is a Benjamin F. Segraves who was born in 1863 in AR and lived there until at least 1920.
I even show a Benjamin F. Segraves who was born 30 May 1897 in TX.
There are other Benjamins on my list, but those seem closer to what you are looking for.
You can see why I need more detail to be helpful.
Jim Seagraves
