My family stems from Nuevo Leon, Mexico. My grandfather's name was Jose Segovia Nombrana married to Magdalena Munoz Gonzalez in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon in the very early 1930's. They had several children (Enrique, Luis,Jesus, Elena, Rosa, Oralia, Graciela, Roberto, and Antonio)and my father is the oldest surviving child, Enrique Segovia, Sr (1933), now about 72 yrs old. My father lived in Brownsville for about 20 years after marrying my mother in 1966, Ramona de los Angeles born in Texas but grew up in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Thereafter my parents have followed me to Austin when I came to UT and still live in the area. If you have any more info please let me know.
