Currently reading Town Records for Philadelphia, Rutland Co., Vermont, which was formed in 1805.

On page 20
Hiram Seger son of Jacob & Patience Seger was born Sept 17th 1803
Jno Bisbee Seger son of Jacob and Patience Seger was born July the 23rd 1805.
Joel Seger son of Jacob and Patience Seger was born Aug 15th AD 1807.
Delia Gibbs Seger Daughter of Jacob and Patience Seger was born January the 12th 1810.
Hiram Seger son of Jacob & Patience Seger Departed this life August 21st 1812.
Alzina Seger Daughter of Jacob & Patience Seger was Born July 27th 1812.

Elijah Seger Esq is the moderator, is elected Selectman (& 2 others), Pound Keeper
Elijah & Jacob Seger are elected Surveyors of Highways
Jacob Seger (& 2 others) is elected Haywards (Hay wards?)
Abraham Seger is elected Lister (assigns property values)

Only covered the 1st 4 years so far. There is also a Seger book, can't lay my hads on the notes tonight. Hope this helps
