My Great-Grandfather Alfred William (Bill) Sefton (born 30th March 1889) originated from Worcester.
His Father was also called Alfred and married Emily Nash who originated from Winchcombe in Gloucs - the possible names of some of his brothers and a sister were Herbert, Harold,Walter,Jack and Caroline. Not sure if their names are correct or if there were any more of them, because the info was given to me as a child by Bill when he was well into his 90's (He went on to reach his 100th birhday!)The only other information I have is that Alfred senior worked in a brush factory,had four other children Annie, Elsie, Emily and May. One of Alfred Snr's brothers owned a fleet of taxi cabs in Worcester and another was a taxidermist. He also mentioned a cousin Frank Sefton. If anyone has any possible links to these Seftons please let me know. Will be updating any further info.
