I found tonight (at the Society of Genealogists) that a Penelope Sedgwick aged 53 was buried at Newington in 1818. Also mentioned are daughter Mary Sedgwick aged 17 died 23 May 1812, daughter Ann Sedgwick aged 21 died 7 January 1821, grandson William Sedgwick aged 1 year 8 months died 10 September 1834 and crucially Elizabeth Lee Sedgwick aged 12 months and 10 days died 29 July 1837.
A William Sedgwick married Penelope Watts in 1793 at St Leonards Shoreditch. Assumedly the same man left a will in 1810 mentioning his wife Penelope, brother John, two eldest sons and daughters.
