Years ago, a Sedgwick researcher on this site was helpful, but, I continue to try and find proof of the origins of my 4th great grandmother, Ann Sedgwick Robinson b. abt. 1760. (Her youngest son, John Robinson Cumming was born in 1794, migrated into KY) It has been suggested that she came from the Thomas, Joshua, Benjamin Sedgwick line. Possibly Ann Sedgwick married Lord John Robinson. Their child perhaps Ann Sedgwick Robinson. Can anyone connect this grandmother who married William E. Cummings of Hillsboro, Orange Co NC. I cannot find the origins of her husband, either. I have lots of information on their many descendants.
