In 1948 Frederick Secord--who was a partner at the Law Offices of Gann, Secord, Stead & McIntosh on LaSalle Street in Chicago--corresponded with my father's sister Jeanette (Gregory) Miller. In one of his letters he mentioned that he was considering, ". . the advisability of making a permanent record of what I have gathered together. Wht I do, will be done privately at my ownh expense. It is my plan to donate copies of the completed work to the pricipal libraries of the Uniteds States and Canada, where they willbe available for reference by the present and future generations."
Could anyone tell me if he made such a record, and where I might be able to find it.
David D. Gregory
