St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, 20 December 1901:

Batavia Herald: At the C. & N. W. yards, Wednesday morning, December 18th, a Mr. Secker, brakeman, slipped and fell. He was struck by the 8:12 passenger train, sustaining injuries on the head and arm, but not considered serious. Mr. Secker is a married man, about 25 years of age, and resident of West Chicago. His parents live at Wheaton.
I am not related to nor researching this family and have no further informaiton.
