I am looking for any info on this line.
Ira Sechrist was b.1884 and lived in Birchardville, PA, m. Dillia Schmouder.
Ira's parents were David Sechrist b. 1829 and Mary Elizabth (McKinley?)
David's parents were Christian Sechrist b. 1802 Lancaster, PA? and Mary Raker.
Christian's parents wereP:eter SDechrist b. 1776 Switzerland and Catherine Graybill (Krebeil)b. 1780.
I have just started working on this line and my info is sketchy so I would appreciate any help in filling in a lot of blanks.
Ira had a son Alson Richard "Dick" Sechrist who d. 1964. Also would be interested in any info on him.
BTW, does anyone know the meaning of Sechrist?
