Emigrate Stephen Sebastion b) abt 1655 d) 1713-1715
Stephen Sebastian was transported to Maryland and his rights were proved on 15 June 1675[“The Early Settlers of Maryland by Gust Skordasp 409 Liber 15 Folio 307 Maryland Court Records] In April of 1676 Stephen Sebastian witnessed the will of William Collier of Anne Arundel County Maryland. [Prerogative Court Wills Bk 5 pp 42-44]That means he was of legal age.On 26 Sep 1689 William Fitzhugh leased 50 acres farm ground to Stephen Sebastian which once was owned by James Ashton. The lease mentions Stephen’s wife as Elizabeth and his son as Stephen. No marriage record has yet been found for Stephen Sr. I am trying to locate records that would either show that Stephen Sr. married in Maryland and his son was born in Maryland or a record that shows if he brought a family with him when he came to America and if so how many children he had.Documents show that Stephen Sr. was still alive in 1713 but when records start in St. Paul Parish (Va)in 1715 he is not listed in death records. So he died between 1713-1715.I am looking for documents that show if Stephen had more children than Stephen Jr. (who was live in 1689).
