Sam, I do have a bunch of Woodsons in my data base that are connect to the Seay family but they are much too early for your use. Couldn't find any Woods. But here is something you need to keep in mind.St. James Northam Parish, Goochland Co., VA; Goochland Co. was formed from Henrico Co. in 1728, Albermarle Co., was formed from Goochland Co. in 1744 and Fluvanna Co. was formed from from Albermarle Co. in 1777.One of my ancestors lived in five counties during his lifetime. However, He never moved from the house in which he was born.
May I suggest you go back with the census records on the people you do know and can find starting with the one closest to your birth date. When you get back a few generations, I may be able to help you.John James could certainly be part of my line.
