Regarding LLoyd Seay, I met Raymond Parks a few years ago. He owned a liquor store on North Avenue in the Loring Heights neighborhood at the time. He talked about what a great driver Lloyd was and that he (Raymond) also raced at the old Lakewood track south of Atlanta. Said he once bought a new Ford, drove it off the showroom floor to the race track and raced it. I believe he said he won the race. He showed me all his memorabilia and gave me a Kellog's Corn Flake commemorative box about NASCAR with his picture on it.
