UPDATED INFO: As I was searching for the possibility of children for Samuel Jenness who married Mary/Judith (JEWELL) JENNESS: I came across the following possible children per the LDS site. They are:
Judith Jenness b. abt 1777. Pembroke, Merrimack, NH
John Jenness b 25 July 1759 Meredith, Belknap, NH; d.15 Apr. 1830 Boston, Suffolk, Ma. He married Susanna Fowler 10 Jan 1782 Of Pembroke, Merrimack, NH.
Mary Jenness b. 3 Nov 1766 Pembroke, Merrimack, NH.: d, 20 Aug 1823. She married Joseph Huckins on 2 May 1878 of Gilmanton, Belknap,NH and had 11 children by him.
I have been looking for the In-laws for Samuel Porter SEAVEY. His wifes name was Judith W. Jenness. But have not been able to find this Judith's parents. My thought is: if the First Samuel Jenness & wife Judith Jewell had a daughter by the name of Judith (which they did), couldn't this Judith Jenness be the same Judith Jenness that m. Samuel Porter SEAVEY in 1830 NH? Personally I have found the LDS site to be off on their dates by at least 20 years, so to me, this could be a possiblity. Can any one give me some feed back as to this theory &/or have the dates and names for Judith W. JENNESS' parents. Judith W. JENNESS was born abt 1809 Rye,NH.
Someone had emailed me saying that Judith JENNESS' parents were Isaac Jenness and Hannah---. I have checked both the LDS and rootsweb sites and found 2 Isaac Jenness' both with wives named Hannah. Neither is listed with a daughter named Judith. One of the Isaac JENNESS' was born 10 Feb 1814 Which is after our Judith W. JENNESS. The other Isaac JENNESS m. a Hannah DOW 20 Aug 1778 Rye, NH. They have 5 children listed-Mary JENNESS b. 20 Feb 1780; Hannah JENNESS b. 27 Dec 1782; Henry JENNESS b. 7 Apr. 1786; Joseph JENNESS b 11 June 1790 and a Mercy JENNESS b. WFT Est. 1772-1801. NO JUDITH JENNESS! Please Help me find Judith W. JENNESS' parents. Would appreciate any help I can get, even if it is only for look ups!
