In Mary Kegley's book _The Lost Children of Wythe County, Virginia_, p. 137:
"Fielding Seavors, an illegitimate child over 14 years of age, chose Michael Moyers his guardian. Security on the bond, John Foster for Michael Moyers, Jr. The bond says the child is under age 14." This reference is in a list of court documents from 1829. The ages don't add up to what you have, but the name is unusual enough to question coincidence.
