This is probably Matilda Seaver, daughter of William and Margaret/Peggy (Cleek) Seaver of Washington Co, VA.

William Seaver is thought to have been born @1770, and he died before Nov. 1814 (Washington Co, VA guardian's record for one of his sons). He is thought to have been the son of Henry and Elizabeth (LNU) Seaver. There is excellent circumstantial evidence that he was the brother of Jacob Seaver of Washington Co., VA (Scott Co. formed from Washington 1814), who moved to Switzerland Co, IN about 1820.

William was married before he married Margaret/Peggy Cleek, wife's name unknown. They had children Henry, John, Joseph F., William C., Jeremiah, and Sarah Susannah. My husband is descended from William's son, John.

William apparently married Margaret/Peggy Cleek about 1806. She was named in the 1814 will of Michael Click/Cleek of Hawkins Co, TN (borders Scott Co, VA). They had 2 other daughters, Elizabeth Lois and Nancy. Matilda, Elizabeth and Nancy are named as "siblings of the half blood" in the an 1822 Wythe Co, VA court case resolving the estate of William's son, Henry.
