In Reply to: CEDRIC SEAVER-GRACE TURK-TEXAS by NSmothers of 396

Grace Seaver was my Mother's first cousin. My Mother's Mother was Daisy William Turk Pipkin and her brother was Christopher Columbus Turk known to me as Uncle Lum. I think I met him when I was nine. All I remember is that he was very tall and very old. Aunt Grace, as I knew her, had no children. I was sent to Texas several summers when I was young to stay with Aunt Grace and she came to visit my Mother in California. The last time I remember seeing her was, I think, in the 1980's. Uncle Cedric (her husband) was dead and she had a man who came with her who was sort of her "keeper". I think I was told that her relatives in Texas paid him to live with her in her homein Houston and handle her affairs. I remember her house there had stacks of magazines aned papers every where and you had to be careful walking through it. I used to think she was a funny old lady because she drink a coke every morning for breakfast. The joke is that I find myself doing that all these years later. I would love to hear from anyone that remembers her.
