Seaver TN: Hawkins, Grainger, Jefferson, etc.

I have been researching the families of brothers Jeremiah and Joseph Seaver (various spellings) and want to correct and expand on some earlier posts.

Joseph Seaver (1796-1869) married Matilda Unknown and had the following children: Thomas B. @1834, Geroge S. @1838, Nelson @1840, (Mary) Emaline @1842, Harriet @1844, Sarah C. @1849, and Lusena? @1852. See 1850 Jefferson Co. census, household p. 1837 & 138 (Sarah C. is on top of p. 138) and 1860 Hawkins Co. census p. 145.

I had previously been given information that Thomas was born 1852, but he shows up, age 16, in the 1850 Jefferson Co. census with the family. He married Lusenia Robertson in Hawkins, TN n 1859 and is found in Hamblen Co, TN in 1880. Hamblen was formed 1870 from Greene, Grainger & Hawkins Co.

In 1870 Matilda, 56 and Nelson 28 are in Russellville, Hawkins, TN p. 170, household # 41. Next door are George Lawson 28, Emeline 27, Alice M. 8, Sonella(?) H. 4 (female) and Martha C. 1.
